The teaching qualifications devised by BTDA on offer through the Graded Qualifications Alliance are available at three levels as follows: Dance Teaching Assistant Aimed at candidates 12 years or over who wish to teach under supervision. You must hold a BTDA Intermediate or Grade 7 certificate or an equivalent qualification with a different association. Certificate in Dance Teaching Aimed at candidates 18 years and over who wish to teach in an unsupervised capacity.You must hold a BTDA Advanced Foundation or Grade 7 certificate or an equivalent qualification with a different association. Diploma in Dance Teaching Aimed at established teachers with experience. You must have been a Registered Teacher with an accredited Awarding Body for at least 10 Years or hold the Certificate in Dance Teaching.
