NOVICE AND OPEN COMPETITIONS

BTDA Competitions are held throughout the country in the East Midlands, West Midlands, London and the North East.

There is a broad range of sections that can be entered including Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Lyrical, Character, Acrobatic, Song & Dance, Greek and National in a variety of different ways, Solos, Duets, Trios and Groups/Troupes.  SO SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.

All competitors receive a certificate and those achieving a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th place will also receive a Medal - Gold, Silver, Bronze and smaller Bronze respectively.

Each competition will source an Independent Adjudicator to preside over the competition and make judgements about the places awarded.  This is completed at the end of each section and they will ordinarily receive feedback to the section as a whole, however in addition they will prepare a comment sheet for each competitor outlining their strengths and weaknesses so that know how to improve for next time.

Why not have a look at the Competition Handbook and see what is involved.
