Championships

Participation in a BTDA competition opens up the opportunity for solo competitors to compete in our All England Championships,

There are 5 Championship heats for solo competitors held throughout the year in 9 disciplines, Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Lyrical, Character, Acrobatic, Song & Dance, Greek and National in three age groups, Junior, Inter and Senior. Those awarded 1st and 2nd places automatically qualify for the All England Championship Finals held in November of each year in Leicester.

All England Championship Finals

The All England Championship Finals are a very prestigious event and a great occasion with talented competitors providing an amazing display of their accomplished dance skills.

Presided over by 3 Professional Adjudicators, many direct from the Dance Industry, ensures that the Champion and Runner Up are worthy of the award. Many Champions have gone on to have successful dance careers.
