The British Theatre Dance Association is a registered Charity and has the following Organisation and Assessment Personnel:

General Secretary Office and Assessment Management
Examination Secretary Co-ordination of Examination entry procedures
Standardisation Officer Standardisation of results systems
Head Office Administrative Staff General Administration
Moderator To review assessment decisions
Educational Consultant Advice and Guidance
Artistic Director Programme of Study Development
Head Examiner Oversight of a specific qualification type
Examining Team Currently we have 30 operating examiners and 8 trainees, who are sent out in the field to carry out assessments
Area and Competition Organisers Members / Volunteers who organise and run events for teachers and students in their locality

 

BRITISH THEATRE DANCE ASSOCIATION

The Association has gone from strength to strength, receiving accreditation from the Council for Dance Education and Training in 1993. It became an accredited awarding organisation in 2001 and this was closely followed by the accreditation of its General and Vocational Graded Examinations in Theatre Dance in December 2001 and September 2003 respectively.
