Membership

There are three levels of Membership and the benefits of holding a BTDA Membership are numerous. All Members benefit from a reduced Examination fee for Vocational Examinations and receive a copy of Theatre Dance News where you will find information and photographs of different things going on around the world within BTDA. This is also an opportunity for you to send in some information yourself to be included in the newsletter, we would love to hear from you. Please email alison@btda.org.uk with your news.

Student Membership - from a Grade 5 to Advanced Foundation and in full time education.

Full Member – holding an Advanced Foundation Certificate and not in full time education.

Teacher Member – Principals, Registered Teachers and Provisionally Registered Teachers.

Become A Dance Teacher

Holding a Teacher Membership enables you to download all the Programmes of Study, music and video footage of the work and are also encouraged to join the official Facebook Page, only available with an up to date Membership, this is where you can keep abreast of any changes and Programme of Study amendments etc.

You will not just be a Membership number, we offer a personal service to all our Teachers. We understand that circumstances and priorities can change over time and we are always happy to discuss alternatives to put into operation in order to work through any problems you may experience during your Registration with us.

Contact Head Office for a teaching pack. All applications are assessed on an individual basis.

We encourage applications from Teachers who have previously trained with other accredited organisations, most qualifications can cross over at the same level.
